Picasso, the printmaker at the Museo de Arte Abstracto Español

Pablo Picasso, La Minotauromaquia, Paris, 23 Febrero 1935.

The exhibition, presented at the Museo de Arte Abstracto de Cuenca, features a selection of graphic works by the Spanish master Pablo Picasso.

On display is a selection of prints from the early part of his career and from the 1930s. Most of the pieces come from the Fundación Juan March's collection. One of the highlights includes a centrepiece in Picasso's oeuvre and in the history of printmaking: the Minotauromachie (1935), which has been produced in a very limited print run. Very few copies exist in Spain. Beautiful !

The Barbican announced last week that an exhibition dedicated to Jean Paul Gaultier will be staged in April 2014. This is so exciting!

The infamous conical bra and corsets
Madonna wore during her 1990 Blonde Ambition World Tour will be showcased alongside stage costumes designed for Kylie Minogue as well as pieces created for the films of the amazing Pedro Almodóvar.

Juergen Teller on Woo! at the ICA

This exhibition highlights Teller's landmark fashion and commercial photography from the 90s, presenting classic images of celebrities such as Lily Cole, Kurt Cobain and Vivienne Westwood, as well as more recent landscapes and family portraits.

To be honest with you, I was a bit disappointed by this exhibition... I am sharing this interesting video anyhow.

Rosemarie Trockel: A Cosmos

In A Cosmos, German artist Rosemarie Trockel, known for her wide-ranging career spanning more than thirty years, places her work next to objects and artefacts with which she feels an affinity. Central to the Serpentine Gallery exhibition  are a number of new works by Trockel but also by self-taught artists such as Judith Scott and James Castle.

The exhibition, on view until 7 April 2013, reflects the artists' interest in creating a space for ideas to exist between different disciplines, past and present.
