'The Best of Times, The Worst of Times. Rebirth and Apocalypse in Contemporary Art' is the scary title given to the inaugural Biennale of Kiev, Ukraine.
The Biennale, under the curation of Daniel Elliot - curator of the 17th Biennial of Sydney - will display works by over 100 international and Ukrainian contemporary artists, including 40 site-specific new works. All of the pieces will be on display in the historic Mystetskyi Arsenal from 24 May until 31 July 2012.
Some of the artists revealed include some of my favourites: Bill Viola, Ai Weiwei, Jake and Dinos Chapman, Yayoi Kusama among many others... I look forward.
